Galway Centre for Independent Living CE Scheme Ltd are looking for Transport Administrators to join a well-established Accessible Transport Service which runs Monday to Friday for its clients.
Eligibility to participate in CE Schemes is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups.

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support you in this role and develop your skills for your career.
The Accessible Transport Service is one of the main services provided by Galway Centre for Independent Living
The role of Transport Administrators is as an initial point of contact to transport people with disabilities and mobility impairments across the city and surrounds thereby assisting them to live independently.
All routes are preplanned, and scheduling of routes and drivers is well organised for both customers and drivers. You will be responsible for taking landline and email bookings, making a hard copy record and entering the details on GCIL internal systems.
Transport Administrators are also tasked with taking payments and sending out web texts to clients and points of contact on daily basis
